Yes, today is labor day and unfortunately some gyms are closed today and others are not. Luckily mine is open till 8 at night. However, this shouldn’t get you down. If your gym is open, rejoice like a wild animal and get to some deadlifts. Labor day is a time for some labor…deadlift labor that is. In this short, quick workout routine. It encompasses some overhead presses and some straight up exhausting deadlifts. So if your celebrating a day off and heading to the gym, try this workout routine out for some spice of life.
Start this workout by setting your timer for 30 minutes. Alternate between 6 reps of the deadlift and 6 reps of the seated overhead press using around 60% of your 1 RM. Rest only when needed and perform as many sets as possible within the 30 minute time limit. If you cannot perform them with good form, rest or stop the workout. Easy enough? Good! Get to work!!
